Here is a very hard to find 1883/2 overdate shield nickel. This is the hard to find Major variety. Listed in CPG at FS 13.0 or 301. In Howard Spindel's SNV its S1-5001
This coin is an early die state with no die crack. If it wasnt for the scratches on the obv. you would be looking at a super coin. It is still nice but the scratches do take away from the overall look of this rare coin.
