This is a curious piece. Dated 1910, it precedes most Revolutionary Mexican coinage by at least three years. It is not catalogued in most books about Revolutionary Mexican coinage. The "EG2" designation comes from the book Coins of the Mexican Revolution 1910-1917 by Neil S. Utberg, in a section of the book called "Enigmatic Issues".
